Our client is an exciting and growing Film and TV studio. It invests in, produces and distributes stellar Film and TV content across multiple platforms.
We have a new opportunity for a qualified lawyer to join the Legal and Business Affairs team during an exciting period in the company’s growth.
You will work alongside some fantastic colleagues across the business. As the company expands its creative slate, you will:
- Negotiate and draft book options, writer agreements and broadcaster development agreements
- Advise production teams on legal matters that arise, including support with templates and relevant bespoke contracting for talent contracts, crew contracts, location agreements and other third-party agreements
- Negotiate and draft key talent agreements
- Assist on financing transactions, restructurings and general M&A processes
- Update and manage precedent agreements as well as best practices, protocols and guidance notes in accordance with applicable law
The role will ideally suit a qualified solicitor with experience in a film or scripted television environment (NQ – 3 years’ PQE). You will need to be comfortable working in a small but growing and high performing team.
