Job description: This business is an instantly recognisable name, experiencing an exciting period of growth and they are looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to assist on a broad range of commercial matters. Reporting into the Head of Legal, you will lead on: · Providing practical, commercial legal advice across the various business units; · Drafting and negotiating high value commercial contracts with customers at local and global level, as well as procurement contracts with suppliers; · Advising the business development teams on bids and tenders for new customer contracts; · Assisting on GDPR/Data Privacy matters; · Providing training to the business on legal matters, maintaining precedents and guidance material; · Managing the relationships with key stakeholders; · Liaising with colleagues throughout Europe and internationally across the business; and · Company secretarial matters from time to time. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer who wants to supercharge their career with huge exposure and autonomy in a sector that is known for developing fantastic commercial lawyers but with the support of the existing experienced lawyers in the team. Alternatively, if you are working in a law firm and have built up a good level of commercial contracts experience and seeking your first move in-house, then this will provide you with phenomenal career development. The package is up to £80,000 dependent on PQE and includes a discretionary bonus, generous car allowance and pension plus other add ons. The business requires 3 days per week in the East Midlands office.

Expected salary: £65000 – 80000 per year
