Client Relationship Manager – Banks

A well-known international law firm are looking for a Client Relationship Manager to support their Banks clients. The Banks sector remains the cornerstone of the firms client portfolio, showcasing robust, long-standing relationships.

As a Client Relationship Manager, you’ll primarily oversee a portfolio of Banks clients, collaborating with the wider Client Development team to manage clients within the broader Client Focus program. Your role will involve partnering with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to strategise, enhance relationships, and explore revenue-generating opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Client Portfolio Management:

  • Manage a portfolio of global strategic bank clients and/or high-growth potential clients.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor annual global client plans in collaboration with relationship teams.
  • Foster regular dialogue with key contacts and establish new relationships within client organisations.
  • Coordinate with various internal stakeholders across the firm’s global network.

Client Intelligence and Revenue Generation:

  • Research and analyse client businesses and market sectors for revenue opportunities.
  • Disseminate key client developments and industry trends to client teams.
  • Manage global fee and profitability targets, identify new revenue opportunities.

Client Reporting and Financial Management:

  • Prepare financial and non-financial reports for clients and internal audiences.
  • Monitor financial performance, recommend actions for improvement.
  • Attend client meetings, manage client relationship documents.

Client Events, Pitch & Commercial Support:

  • Collaborate on client event ideas with events teams.
  • Manage panel and pricing agreements, work on global panel pitches.
  • Support strategic proposals and enforce client fee arrangements.

Client Feedback and Best Practices:

  • Facilitate regular feedback reviews, ensuring prompt action on received feedback.
  • Share experiences and contribute to expanding client relationships.
  • Support the Global Strategic Client Programme and share best practices.
