Job description: An exciting new position has become available for a Licensed Costume Designer to join the design team of a globally recognized costume manufacturer.
The Licensed Costume Designer will focus predominantly on creating original artworks for licensed and non-licensed graphics.
Licensed Costume Designer Responsibilities
- Conduct in depth trend and market research
- Design and create original artworks whilst also accurately duplicating character artworks
- Creating detailed specifications for production
- Create and design seamless textures and repeating prints
- Attend customer meetings and present designs
Licensed Costume Designer Skills
- Extensive experience in illustration
- Some experience working within clothing
- Trained in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Additional Info
The Licensed Costume Designer will have an excellent eye for detail, with the ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently. Some experience in sublimation printing would be beneficial, however not essential.
