Contract Length: 12 months (Part time)
Location: Hybrid/Aldermaston – 2-3 days a week (1 day a week on site)
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £600 per day
Security Clearance: DV or SC requested

Spinwell is recruiting for a Licensing, Condition and Compliance Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LICENSING, CONDITION AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines pertaining to electronic security systems, including “N” licensing requirements.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of project sites to evaluate compliance with health and safety (H&S) regulations, ensuring the implementation of necessary corrective actions.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and changes in legislation related to electronic security systems, licensing, and conditions.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing obligations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects, detailing compliance measures, licensing approvals, and condition assessments.
  • Conduct regular audits of ongoing projects to identify potential compliance gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Advise project teams on appropriate licensing and regulatory requirements for each project, including national infrastructure sites

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE LICENSING, CONDITION AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER

  • Certified in NEBOSH & IOSH essential
  • Experience in Health & Safety on major projects
  • Nuclear/defence background would be highly advantageous
