You will deliver a range of projects from initiation to completion both individually and as part of the wider lifecycle team. These projects will range from creating new lifecycle models and assessing lifecycle performance on operational projects, to guiding clients through PFI handback and Expiry with our unique methodology. You will also contribute to other Strategic Advisory projects providing specific lifecycle input where required.

  • Act as Project Manager with responsibility for financial performance and internal governance
  • Interpretation of technical information to provide clear communication for a broad range of audiences
  • Customer facing role including undertaking site visits to review condition and work completed and/or required
  • Business Development – Forming positive and ongoing relationships with clients, recognising potential opportunities for other teams, proposal development
  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff members
  • Organising and managing own workloads
  • Providing assistance to wider WSP teams

YOUR TEAM

Our PPP and Property Advisory Business Unit is recruiting for an Associate level consultant to join our growing Lifecycle Advisory team, within the PPP Advisory team.

The PPP Advisory team comprises highly experienced consultants working with clients across a wide range of sectors and markets delivering advice on built assets from acquisition, through construction and operating phases to disposal.

You’ll be supporting other professional technical consultants, all dedicated to growing and sharing their expertise in PPP/PFI capital maintenance planning, budgeting and delivery. The team regularly delivers a variety of commissions including lifecycle modelling and reprofiling, operational project lifecycle reviews on behalf of lenders and investors, PFI handback planning, and management of lifecycle replacement delivery on operational projects.

This depth of service has allowed us to establish long term trusted relationships with a significant number of key clients in both the public and private sectors in the UK, Europe and beyond. Our team are recognised as industry experts in PFI, contributing to government issued guidance on PFI Expiry and leading industry workshops to develop thinking on transitioning assets back into the public domain.

By joining the team, you will become part of what is already a market leading, multi-award winning consultancy service. We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Knowledge of PPP/PFI sector essential with prior experience in some or all of the following areas – Lifecycle modelling, Lender’s Technical Advisor role, PFI/PPP Contract Management, FM Strategic Reviews, Capital maintenance planning and delivery
  • Degree/Master’s Degree or equivalent in FM or related technical subject
  • Previous PFI/PPP consulting experience
  • Previous lifecycle management experience
