Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our client’s team in West London. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimising their spare parts flow, ensuring efficient delivery lead times, maintaining high repair quality and performance, and managing costs effectively. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with internal stakeholders such as repair workshops and boutiques, as well as external clients including retailers. This position requires a proactive and organised individual who can execute and improve upon our strategic plan.
Responsibilities:
Spare Parts Management:
- Coordinate and optimise the flow of spare parts within the subsidiary.
- Ensure adequate stock levels to meet the needs of repair workshops, boutiques, and external clients.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and overstocks.
Delivery Lead Time Optimization:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery lead times for both internal and external clients.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to streamline the logistics process and enhance overall efficiency.
Quality and Performance:
- Work closely with repair workshops to maintain high-quality repair standards.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including repair workshops and boutiques.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external clients such as retailers.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in logistics operations.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and implement improvements accordingly.
Workflow Oversight:
- Supervise the entire workflow of goods, from receipt to dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Collaborate with different departments to streamline logistics processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Problem Resolution:
- Identify and resolve issues related to logistics, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of repair and spare parts logistics is a plus.
