Week 1 = 0700 to 1600 hrs

Week 2 = 1000 to 1900hrs

Department:

The Logistics team is a core part of the Manheim business providing a world class Transport service to our customers both internal and external.

Ensuring operating standards meet with expected compliance authorities and the financial performance meets with business expectations.

Role:

This is an exciting opportunity available at our Coventry Hub centre.

You will ensure delivery of a safe, legally compliant and cost-efficient transport operation within the Transport Planning Office at Coventry site.

It will focus on following all recognised transport processes and additionally identify and develop new processes to meet the needs of the business, to control and despatch Transporter Drivers, maintain and develop external sub-contractor work, delivering a first-class service to our internal and external customers communicating using conventional methods.

Skills:

  • Previous experience of working within a fast moving Transport department
  • Strong team player with good customer service skills,
  • Excellent communication both written, telephone and verbal
  • Must be an organised individual who can multitask
  • Capable of dealing with queries and following process
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and without fuss
  • Ability to fit into a strong team environment
  • Good geographical knowledge of the Untied Kingdom
  • CPC Road Haulage is preferred but not necessary
  • An understanding of Fleet management, WTD and EU drivers rules beneficial
  • Ability to plan efficiently and cost effectively
  • Commercially aware
