This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of their dynamic team, contributing to the seamless flow of materials and products within a fast-paced and high-quality manufacturing environment.Position Overview:As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating the movement of goods across international borders, working closely with the Warehouse Team to maintain efficiency and compliance with all relevant regulations. This position requires a meticulous individual with a deep understanding of logistics, international trade, and EU regulations.Key Responsibilities:Imports and Exports Management:

  • Coordinate and oversee the import and export processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
  • Work closely with customs brokers to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.

International Freight Coordination:

  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders and carriers for seamless transportation of goods.
  • Optimise freight costs while maintaining delivery timelines.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay abreast of EU regulations and ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

Collaboration with Warehouse Team:

  • Work on-site with the Warehouse Team to coordinate the movement of materials and finished products.
  • Implement best practices for inventory management and order fulfilment.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documents, and compliance-related information.
  • Generate regular reports on logistics performance and propose improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, particularly within the EU.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location:East Yorkshire (On-site)Working Schedule:Full-time, 5 days per week, on-site collaboration with the Warehouse Team.
