Are you a Logistics Coordinator or similar with some buying experience looking for a sought after opportunity to join a global company offering a guided training programme and clear routes to progress into senior and managerial routes throughout the business?

In this role you will be liaising with suppliers, manually inputting and following orders, dealing with delivery drivers and all things logistics and negotiating with suppliers to reduce cost where possible. There will be in house training on the procurement side of the role and there is plenty of further training available if you are wanting to progress into senior roles, most pertinently the Purchasing Manager.

This company are longstanding market leaders withing the valve and exhaust industry supplying into many major OEMs within Automotive, Rail, Aerospace and many more. Having grown exponentially since their incorporation over 50 years ago they show no signs of slowing down and are looking to continue that growth well into the future.

This role would suit someone with a logistics background that has experience dealing with suppliers and is looking for a role to grow in and progress their career through a variety of guided, in house training.

The Role:

• Manually inputting and tracking orders, dealing with delivery drivers and logistics
• Negotiating costs and liaising with various suppliers while buying materials
• Monday – Thursday, 7.30am – 4.30pm, 12:30pm finish on Fridays

The Person:

• Logistics background
• Experience liaising with suppliers
