Job description: Michael Page Logistics are recruiting a Logistics manager for a client in Weybridge. This is a close-knit team but supported by a larger team in Europe and around the world.

The primary focus of the role is around Logistics management, and you will be Subject Expert for the UK Operations In addition you will help the business with commercial and administrative responsibilities.

• Shipping documentation (Bill of Lading, CMR, AWB)
• Oversee imports and exports including customs clearance
• Interact with third-party logistics service providers
• Direct customer interaction & complaint handling
• Support to Head of Trade, UK
• General administrative and back office responsibilities

The ideal candidate will require experience gained from a similar role as a logistics manager. Sector is non specific although candidates with a background in trading or commodities would be encouraged to apply. You must be comfortable working within a small team and be happy to support other areas of the business as required. The role requires you to have excellent communications skills, be pro-active and a natural problem solver. Knowledge of national and international shipping documents, transport regulations, Incoterms is important.

Expected salary: £40000 per year
