**Position Overview:**

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and manage our end-to-end logistics and supply chain activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods, from the point of origin to the final destination, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Hours are mon to Friday 7 to 4pm, £12 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Management:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain process.
• Plan the roots for up to 8 trucks per day

Transportation and Distribution:

• Coordinate transportation and distribution activities to maximize efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers and logistics service providers.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Implement best practices to enhance the overall efficiency of logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role with atleast 10 years of experience.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with relevant software, such as ERP systems and logistics management tools.
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
