Job description: Are you ready for the next step up in your career?We are looking for a Logistics Operative to join our growing team at Severfield UK in Dalton.As a logistics operative your role will be to take direction from the Logistics Manager to safely load and unload vehicles and move materials around the factory and site.Key responsibilities will be to:
- Load and unload trailers safely
- Load saw beds for production lines
- Move materials around the site
Experience with shunters, side loaders and forklift trucks is an advantage, however full training will be given. It would also be advantageous to have a knowledge and understanding of stock control.It is important that you have a good understanding of health and safety in a factory setting- this is key for the role.This role is to start on the day shift at our Dalton site based in Thirsk working 7am-5:30pm Monday – Thursday 7am-1pm Friday.What can Severfield offer you?
