Job description: Acorn by Synergie is proud to be working along side the friendly teams based in Loughborough Hospital. We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary Logistics Operative for a new ward opening soon.
This role will involved working along side the domestic team completing cleaning duties, transportation of waste, along with reception duties and receipt and distribution of healthcare products.
Location : Loughborough Hospital, LE11 5JY
Hours : Monday to Friday 09:00 – 13:00 each week.
Rate of pay : Pre AWR – days £10.42 , nights £14.69, Saturday £14.69, Sunday £19.07
After 12 full weeks of work are completed this raises to
Days £11.45, nights £16.14, Saturday £16.14 , Sunday £20.95
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Receipt and Distribution of Healthcare related products
- Transportation of linen cages, waste bins / carts in and around hospital environments.
- Patient moves (reception to department or department to department)
- Domestic and Reception cover
- Carry out safe hygiene practices and procedures in accordance with the Trust Policy and Codes of Practice
- Ensure efficient, high quality porter/driver services are provided within designated timescales to meet the required standards in an agreed area
- Communicate clearly with patient support team colleagues, supervisors, managers, ward staff, visitors and patients
Full DBS Vetting will be required for this role.
