Management System Controller (Temp-Perm)

Role description

A temp-perm opportunity has arisen to build our Logistics team, initially for a 6-month period with a view to be made permanent. This role is central to providing market-leading customer service, operating within our third-party logistics warehousing, by accurately controlling our stocks and ensuring compliance with business best practices and external regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide input and execution to the stock reporting requirements, meeting SOX compliance obligations.
  • Escalate, investigate and resolve stock reconciliation anomalies.
  • Allocate stock & coordinate effective stock rotation aligned to business best practices, positively impacting departmental budgets.
  • Engage and communicate with internal and external customers and external suppliers/partners.
  • Out of hours and weekend cover responsibilities within the 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Required skills / qualifications:

  • Customer focused with the ability to identify and respond to problems appropriately.
  • Experience within a supply chain focused environment is essential with inventory management and stock control skills being advantageous.
  • Systems profiency, including SAP or use of similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems/ Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the demands of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
