EMSOU Special Operations Unit are seeking a Logistics Support Officer, on a full-time permanent basis, to assist in the management, co-ordination and development of the necessary covert infrastructure for the East Midlands Special Operations Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Backstopping Manager in the management and co-ordination of legend building activity relating to EMSOU personnel and undercover operations undertaken within the region.
  • Assist the Backstopping Manager in the management and co-ordination of activity relating to EMSOU personnel and covert operations undertaken within the region.
  • To collate and vet external agencies, organisations and individuals both in the public and private sector who may provide services and resources.
  • To act as a Single Point of Contact with Financial institutions, Government departments, commercial partners and law enforcement agencies

The must haves

  • Must be educated to A Level standard (or equivalent), relevant work experience.
  • Experience of working within a general clerical/administrative environment.
  • Able to work unsupervised in a high-pressure environment and have the ability to plan and prioritise individual workload.
  • Must have proficient IT skills and have a proven ability to create and maintain spreadsheets for auditing, tracking and planning purposes along with an understanding of financial practices and budgetary processes.
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and be prepared to travel to various locations across the country

Salary £30,783 – £32,772

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
