• Would you enjoy managing a small team of FLT drivers and operators to ensure a smooth and efficient goods in / goods out process?

You will be managing a team of nine operatives and fork lift drivers within a busy manufacturing facility. Taking ownership of the goods in / goods out process, you will have your chance to manage and develop and engaged and efficient team.

Along with a salary of up to £35,000 you will also receive 25 days holiday + your birthday off, cycle to work scheme, company life assurance, employee assistance programme, company pension scheme.

Working on a 6-2 shift pattern with an early finish on Fridays, your role will centre around the day-to-day management of logistics within the factory. Based in Leeds, we are seeking candidates who live within a suitable commuting distance of South-East Leeds.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

• Manage the loading and logistics plan
• People management of direct reports to supervise workload and assist in establishing daily/ weekly objectives with Logistics Manager
• Responsible for authorising all completed check sheets and stillage sheets prior to despatch
• Carrying out product quality tests and audits in line with quality procedures
• Support Logistics Manager with routine equipment maintenance and support with AMPM / CPM
• Designated key holder for opening and securing factory as required
• Thinking on your feet as you deal with unplanned situations in a calm manner.
