The opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join our Liaison team based in London. This is a hybrid role and office days will be at our London City Office. Reporting to the London Liaison, you will be responsible for assisting in developing new business opportunities by promoting McLarens’ global services to the Lloyd’s and London (re) insurance markets.

The role:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the London market team and regional adjusters to develop and execute a structured approach to developing new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a McLarens presence in the London market and promote our global loss adjusting and TPA services.
  • Source opportunities and work from clients into the global network
  • Liaise with the London market concerning daily operating issues, such as troubleshooting and managing enquiries and complaints.
  • Assist with fee collection efforts including support on the Gemini expert fee collection portal.
  • Assist in the preparation service proposals, stewardship reports, responses to RFI’s and due diligence requests.
  • Promotion and communication of company headline news to the market
  • Regular and documented meetings with key contacts within the insurance market
  • Management of regional adjuster visits to London
  • Monthly activity report outlining meetings, objectives and outcomes – together with follow up actions.
  • Accurate upkeep of key contacts, meeting activity and new business opportunities on our CRM system.
  • The delivery of competitive and consistent corporate messaging

About you – Knowledge and Experience:

  • Prior London Market experience preferably in claims and/or underwriting with knowledge of London Binding Authority markets.
  • Experience of international insurance market
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and keen to achieve and demonstrate success in line with targets.
  • Excellent relationship and team working skills.
