Job Description
AMRC Castings have an exciting opportunity for a well organised, self-motivating individual to lead a small team of 3 maintenance engineers. The facility boasts a wide variety of state-of-the-art equipment covering all aspects of the manufacture of castings, including 3D additive pattern and mould machines, investment moulding cells, melting furnaces (Resistance, Induction, Vacuum Induction, Induction Skull and Vacuum Arc Re-melting), heat treatment facilities (both vacuum and air) and a wide variety of finishing technologies.
You will lead the team that is responsible for the upkeep of the equipment from a maintenance perspective and ensuring that all installed facilities are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements. You must be able to lead effectively, planning and ensuring that scheduled tasks take place in a timely manner, alongside providing support for the existing highly experienced maintenance team.
It is required that relevant experience and knowledge is held by you; experience working in a hot metal environment and qualifications in industrial electronics. Equally knowledge of legislative requirements are also highly desirable, i.e. LOLER inspection, LEV inspection, Pressure vessel inspection, COSSH management, etc.
