Job description: easyJet are now recruiting for our 2024 Maintenance Operations Apprenticeship Programme based in our Maintenance Operations Control Centre (MOC). MOC is the central hub for engineering activities, dedicated to ensuring the safety, compliance, and serviceability of our aircraft for daily operations. We are seeking apprentices for various key roles in the Maintenance Operations Centre, such as maintenance and materials planning, maintenance control officers, and the supply chain team. Additionally, there are opportunities within our line maintenance organisation in Luton for Production Planners.

What can you expect?
· Over a 2-year programme you will complete a Level 3 Apprenticeship – Business Administrator whilst working alongside our teams in Luton for on-the-job training to build your practical experience.
· You will gain experience in key operational engineering support functions:
o Maintenance Planning
o Material Planning
o Production Planning
o Maintenance Control Officer
o Inventory – Supply Chain
· Your passion will be turned into practical experience in an exciting live environment where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop all the key skills required to start your career within the aviation sector.
What skills will you learn?
· You will learn how to use our internal I.T. systems, including MS Office, Teams, AMOS, TOPS
· You will learn to write professional emails and how to record and analyse data
· You will learn to make decisions and deal with the challenges presented within MOC
· You will learn to build relationships within the MOC teams and across the organisation
· You will learn how to communicate, whether face-to-face, over teams, in meetings or in writing, with those inside and outside the organisation
· You will learn how to work to a high standard in anything you do
Apprenticeship Levy funding criteria (determined by the UK Government)
· Spend 50% of their working time in England
· Current qualifications do not overlap with that of the apprenticeship
· Be prepared to complete a prior knowledge check (completed by the training provider)
· Able to provide your Maths & English GCSE or equivalent certificates from Scotland
What Support will you get?
· easyJet will provide 6 hours per week ‘off the job’ during working hours to support the apprenticeship learning
What do we need to see?
· Ideally you will have a minimum of five GCSEs or level 3 Functional Skills including English, Maths at grades 4-9
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· As an individual you need to be motivated, pro-active and have a positive attitude
· An interest in aviation and engineering would be an advantage
· You must be eligible to hold a valid passport and to successfully pass a CRB check.
