Recra are working in partnership with one of the UK’s Largest Automated Distribution sites, they are keen to recruit a Permanent Shift Manager to join the team. It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a business with strong investment plans over the next 2 years in which you could be an integral part.

Responsibilities

  • To be the point of contact with the customer for daily activities and when the Engineering Manager is not on site.
  • Support Continuous Improvement at site by co-ordinating multiple projects and feedback suggestion ideas where there is a need.
  • To be responsible for a Resident Maintenance team and the Team Leader will be required to be hands on and complete preventative and corrective on time and to the highest standard in line with customer expectations and KPIs.
  • Ensuring all engineering activities are completed effectively and efficiently, working to the systems and

processes as specified in the O&M manuals. * Communicate regularly with the other RM Team Leader to ensure continuity of approach and that standards are maintained.

  • To be able to troubleshoot within the hired bias (electrical or mechanical or Multiskilled) Effective management of all spares onsite.
  • Coach and mentor as SME (subject matter expert) new technicians on all pieces of equipment
  • Managing performance, effective time management of the team including shift plan editing

Hours

  • 12.5 hour shifts x 14 over a 28 day cycle, averaging 42 hours / week. (7 x days and 7 x nights).
