Job description: Technique Recruitment Solutions are working a leading engineering firm based in Norfolk looking for an experienced Management Accountant/Finance Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Management Accountant/Finance Manager
Full Time – Norwich
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Reporting to the Managing Director and Commercial Finance Director you will have the responsibility for the day to day running of the accounts department.
· Preparation of management accounts, preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals and prepayments
· Create forecasts to revise the end of the financial year P&L expectations as well as other adhoc financial reports
· Responsible for cash management, including reviewing weekly and long range cash flow
· Overseeing payroll to ensure is processed correctly
· Purchase and sales ledger control
· Manage fixed asset register
Experience and Qualifications:
· Qualified to (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or candidates qualified by experience
· AAT Level 4 Is desirable
· Experience in Xero accounting and payroll software is desirable
· Experience working in similar role is essential
· Experience in managing processes as well as people
· Advanced Excel skills
· Experience of using and extracting data from financial accounting systems
· Excellent organisational skills
