Position Statement

Hilton’s EMEA Regional Marketing and eCommerce Team is responsible for driving increased market share and revenue through focused Destination Marketing, hotel-level eCommerce Consulting, and a series of speciality functions.

In this role, the Marketing & eCommerce Manager will be responsible for successfully onboarding new hotels that enter our portfolio of brands across Europe, Middle East, and Africa by connecting on-property teams and management companies to Hilton’s Marketing and eCommerce programmes, tools and resources as well as supporting the commercial ramp-up of the property, throughout their onboarding journey. The Marketing & eCommerce Manager will be responsible for implementing effective communication strategies with hotels, owners, management companies and key internal opening functions to ensure overall marketing success of bringing new properties to the Hilton family.

The Marketing and eCommerce Manager will be part of a dynamic Marketing and eCommerce team, supporting new and converting hotels in Europe, Middle East, and Africa to grow revenue and achieve target market share as quickly as possible. You will closely collaborate with internal centres of excellence to drive the commercial performance and hotel brand positioning, identify paid and owned media opportunities, and combine these with insights into local market trends, product, and audience segmentation to deliver a creative, focused marketing plan that establishes awareness or drives demand into each hotel under your remit.

Core responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Working collaboratively with functional specialists in Destination Marketing, Digital, Content, Commercial, Operational, PR, Brand Marketing and Brand Opening teams to deliver successful hotel openings and conversions and ensure smooth implementation of the Marketing and e-commerce strategy and system integration.
  • Leading on-property teams through the critical onboarding milestones, supporting completing these tasks for a successful opening.
  • Owning introduction of Hilton’s performance Marketing and eCommerce programmes and securing programme buy-in from key hotel stakeholders.
  • Preparing for and holding Onboarding consultation calls and in-person meetings with hotel teams as required prior to and post-opening.
  • Leading orientation for on-property commercial team members – including General Managers, Commercial Directors, Sales Managers and Marketing Managers – through Onboarding calls or meetings, empowering them with marketing and eCommerce knowledge and skills to help them drive their hotel’s commercial performance.
  • Leading digital launch campaign intake and strategy brief processes for media planning to support key hotel openings aligned with their marketing budgets, commercial objectives, and targets.
  • Managing all hotel opening processes, communications and reporting through internal technology platforms like Salesforce and PowerBI.
  • Identifying needs and liaising with the MECG Hotel Support team for building onboarding job aids to empower hotel teams.
  • Preparing Marketing & eCommerce opening support summary reports for key openings and sharing those with key regional commercial and operational stakeholders.
  • Following up with the hotels on the post-opening period and providing support on openings related to Marketing and eCommerce inquiries.
  • Regularly reviewing and improving existing processes for new opening hotels with the aim to improve the quality of support and efficiency and take advantage of automation and optimisation opportunities.
