The Role:
The Marketing and Business Development Executive will be responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to elevate our visibility, attract a diverse audience, and increase revenue streams. This role requires a creative thinker with a passion for the hospitality industry, an understanding of consumer behaviour, and the ability to implement strategic initiatives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement holistic marketing strategies to enhance the resort’s brand image and reach a wider audience.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilise data analytic tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, gather insights, and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to ensure North Devon Resort remains at the forefront of the market.
  • Digital Presence: Manage and optimise our online presence through website management, social media platforms, and other digital channels to engage with potential guests effectively.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling and visually appealing content for marketing materials, advertisements, and online platforms that captures our essence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Event Planning: Conceptualise and execute promotional events, special packages, and collaborations to drive footfall and create buzz around the resort.
  • Revenue Generation: Identify and implement new revenue streams by exploring innovative offerings, partnerships, and packages that align with the resort’s unique identity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marketing and business development within the hospitality or travel industry.
  • Strong analytic and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
