About the role:
This is an exciting and varied role in a fast-moving part of the business. This role will help drive our marketing and business development strategy and provide day-to-day, hands-on marketing and business development support for our UK and Europe practices, with the emphasis on attracting, retaining and engaging clients.
As Business Development and Marketing Executive, you will:
- Develop a good understanding of Fragomen’s UK and Europe practices and sector groups, and their key focus areas and priorities.
- Work with allocated sector groups to identify and drive forward growth and profile-raising opportunities. Supported by the Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager as required.
- Identify potential business opportunities with new and existing clients through market research and tracking regional client, sector and competitor news and information.
- Determine and implement external profile-raising opportunities, including coordination and drafting of directory and award submissions and lead marketing campaigns in partnership with our comms and video teams.
- Develop and maintain UK and Europe marketing materials and maintain professional biographies for staff in the region.
- Support the pitch process, including coordinating with teams across the firm and leading on drafting, follow-up and tracking in our CRM system for allocated UK and Europe opportunities.
- Assist with logistics for internal and external firm client events as required, working closely with the events support team.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues across the region and wider firm to identify and promote opportunities for collaboration and continuous improvement.
About you:
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious team player with exceptional communication and organisational skills. A high degree of curiosity, energy and flexibility are also essential, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines and multi-task effectively.

What we are looking for:
- Previous business development and/or marketing experience within a professional services environment.
- Enthusiastic, organised, detail oriented and resourceful, with excellent grammatical and proofreading skills.
- Proven track record of dealing with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Can-do and proactive attitude with an ability to ‘join the dots’.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SalesForce, InterAction or other CRM programs advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a broader team.
- Additional language skills are ideal, but not required.
About the team:
The role will work closely with the EMEA-based Marketing and Business Development team, UK and Europe Partners and other immigration professionals, as well as the wider Marketing and Business Development team across the Fragomen global network. Globally, the marketing and business development function is made up of 30+ professionals covering the full range of strategic marketing and business development support for the firm and promoting exceptional client service.
