We are looking for your expertise for the Furse® Earthing & Lightning Protection and ABB Cable Management Product lines (Harnessflex® Specialist Conduit Systems, Adaptaflex® Flexible Cable Protection, Kopex® Hi-Spec Conduit Systems and ABB Cable Glands). Furse is located in Nottingham, England with ABB Cable Management Products based just up in the road in Coleshill, England. The role of Marketing Communications Specialist is to develop and implement communications programs and messages – including marketing communications, web content, and direct marketing – to educate and inform stakeholders, including customers, employees, trade media and interest groups. You will ensure executional excellence for all communications measures in line with brand positioning, corporate identity/design guidelines and global strategy.
Your responsibilities
- Implementing the go-to–market product marketing strategy and all marketing activities.
- Supporting sales organization in driving sales and services of respective products, providing relevant materials to them.
- Implementing the communications plan, applying all effective media, and supervising or managing production and supplier relations.
- Assisting management with the creation of all communication materials, including (but not limited to) videos, website content, presentations, articles, brochures, catalogues and other sales literature in either printed or electronic format to support sales activities and product launches.
- Managing contributions to key events such as trade exhibitions, developing and organizing customer seminars and employee meetings.
Your background
- Degree in marketing/communications or minimum 3+ years of experience in the field of Marketing Communications or Communications in a B2B environment (ideally technical/industrial environment).
- Possess a solution-focused and self-starter mindset, combined with strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word), CMS Systems and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with on-time delivery, working under tight deadlines and prioritizing responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of the basic principles of marketing and various marketing concepts and related tools such as public relations/traditional media, social media platforms, digital marketing, etc.
- Ability to travel and work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours as needed.
