Role Purpose and Overview

Onsite conversion is the key to delivering our ambitious growth targets and sits at the heart of everything we do on site in order to acquire and retain customers. It affects both the volume of users we can acquire as well as our ability to keep customers for longer and thus is essential for our future success.

The Marketing executive role within the Conversion team supports the implementation of the conversion strategy and tactics by understanding audiences, identifying quality segments and spotting opportunities to deliver acquisition growth faster. The successful candidate will live and breathe the customer, be curious by nature and have a desire to dig into data in order to identify hidden opportunities. They will have clear and concise communication skills and be able to articulate updates to stakeholders to allow for business decisions to be made effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day subscription marketing related updates to the website (campaigns, site changes etc)
  • Support onsite conversion projects, by creating roadmaps, ensuring deliverables are met and coordinating with relevant stakeholders
  • Support daily conversion performance reporting and troubleshooting of identified variances
  • Look for ways to improve the customer experience in relation to their subscription journey
  • Understand conversion related insights and bubble up opportunities to the Marketing Manager
  • Closely understand customer behaviour and interaction through qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Distill and present results of campaign activity
  • Partner with the Insights and Product teams to ensure effective tracking is in place and accurate

Essential skills required for the role

Demonstrable experience within a marketing role

Campaign creation experience

Knowledge using website traffic reporting tools such as Google or Adobe

Excellent communicator both written and verbal with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues into succinct stories and recommendations

Additional skills useful for the role

Previously worked for a subscription business preferable
