Our ambition is to ‘create an inflight retail experience worth talking about ’ and return a profit of £100m per annum by 2026 . This requires us to generate new sources of revenue using more e-commerce channels to generate customer revenue.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading on all aspects of Marketing and Brand activity relating to Inflight retail (IFR), you will work closely with the Head of Trading of the IFR team as well as the Planning, Brand, Creative, CRM and Partnerships Teams. The role will require close management of key agency partners and internal delivery teams, you will lead the day to day strategy and delivery of IFR marketing campaigns.
How you will do it
You will be the overall owner of all marketing and brand activities for Inflight retail and provide end-to-end management of IFR campaigns to support all channels including CRM, social media, seat backs, brochures and digital assets relating to pre-order website and airfi closed loop wifi system that will allow support the order to seat proposition
You will define and implement the inflight retail strategy and program to include; delivering best in class ROI including the main KPI’s relating to traffic and conversion metrics of the Pre-Order website, deliver £50m revenue on Pre-Order by 2026 and £9m of media driven revenue
Lead the planning and management of owned channels communications, including email, homepage, app and social/content activations based on agreed trading priorities.
Build relationships with media revenue owners, in-house social media and all other marketing teams to establish further opportunities to enhance media revenues form IFR suppliers
Qualifications
What you will need to do the role:
An in depth understanding of driving revenue through digital activations along with the ability to work cross functionally to drive revenue through increased conversion
Experience of working with creative agencies across multiple channels and getting the best out of both these and the internal delivery teams
Substantial experience of working at a manager level in marketing team, is essential along with a digital, CRM, e-Commerce or Retail background either Client or Agency-side (on a large consumer brand). You will also need to have worked through a full marketing campaign processes, from planning, to briefing, media planning and execution, creative development, and production through to measurement

Location & Hours of Work
This is a full-time hybrid working role, we typically get together 2-3 times a week in the office which is based at Luton Airport
