Job Description
Our team is hiring a Marketing Manager to drive our strategic marketing activities for the UK&I Cyber Security, Cloud and Modern Workplace offerings.
In this role, you will work predominantly within the Strategic Marketing area, leveraging your deep marketing and industry knowledge and cutting-edge strategies to develop and lead a plan of integrated marketing activities for Cyber Security, Cloud and Modern Workplace. This will involve a focus on key vertical industries and external strategic Partners, driving outbound campaigns with insightful and engaging content, and implementing account-based marketing strategies as required by the business, to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement, and drive growth in the target market.
Key Responsibilities
- Subject matter expert to successfully market the Cyber Security, Cloud and Modern Workplace offerings
- Understand the strategy, priorities, portfolio, market, vertical industry sectors, partner ecosystem and the audience, for the Cyber Security, Cloud and Modern Workplace offerings, and the wider business
- Develop and lead the marketing strategy for Cyber Security, Cloud and Modern Workplace, ensuring alignment with our group marketing principles, with a focus on strategic activity and high-quality output
- Strategically plan and execute a detailed schedule of integrated outbound marketing activity for the year, focusing especially on delivering impactful campaigns for Cyber Security, Cloud and Modern Workplace, with insightful and engaging content that can be adapted for key vertical sectors and strategic customers
- Identify opportunities to promote Cyber Security, Cloud and Modern Workplace and their benefits, and drive customer engagement and relations, for example via social and online presence, webinars and boutique events, industry events and sponsorships, plus other speaking opportunities, account based marketing, thought leadership initiatives, PR, awards, etc.
- Work with the wider marketing team and other key internal stakeholders, including the commercial team, alliances team, offering CTO, to maximise these opportunities and ensure that the strategy, plans, messaging and activities for Cyber Security, Cloud and Modern Workplace are aligned and meet the needs of the business, reaching the required audiences through the best channels, for maximum impact
- Understand the partner ecosystem, our relationship and offerings with key strategic Partners, to continue to drive and grow our collaboration and coordinated marketing activities with them, being able to work with partner Marketing Development Funds and analyse and report on this activity
- Effectively manage inputs from across the wider business, external partners, customers, suppliers and industry analysts, to deliver the required outcomes
- Set appropriate targets and budgets, forecast results / intended impact and return, and measure and report activity and performance
- Conduct and oversee ongoing analysis of activity and results to refine and improve
- Work across the group marketing team to share best practice, synergies, and opportunities
- Work with the team to ensure we have the right marketing processes and tools in place
- Be knowledgeable of the latest trends in the industry, with a particular focus on Cyber Security, Cloud & Modern Workplace, leading the adoption of new marketing tactics and adapting messaging as required
- Review the brand message regularly to ensure consistency and come up with original ideas and formats to communicate and position the brand and offerings among our target audience
- Undertake all mandatory company training within the timescales provided
Qualifications
Professional Experience
- At least 5 years of experience working in Marketing in B2B companies
- Experience in planning and executing marketing activities, including with third parties and agencies
- Experience in press / media relations
- Experience in content generation and copywriting
- Experience in outbound marketing campaigns to generate leads / demand
- Experience in project and campaign planning, management, and execution
- Experience in customer engagement and relations, including account based marketing & events
- Experience working with partners and Marketing Development Funds.
Technical Skills
- Working with Microsoft Office software and collaboration tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.)
- Working with management, planning, and reporting tools (as above + Planner / Monday.com, or similar, dashboards, etc.)
- Working with CRMs and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, SalesForce)
- Working with webinar platforms (e.g. Streamyard / LinkedIn Live etc.)
- Knowledge of social media channels and platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Hootsuite, YouTube, Instagram) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is helpful
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress) is helpful
