Joining Marsh Advisory Graduate Programme – Operational Risk Consulting (ORC), you have the exciting opportunity to help some of the world’s most prestigious institutions to enhance their risk management approaches, provide stewardship and support, reduce the likelihood of losses and where needed provide training and guidance on managing claims. The role includes working as an associate consultant within the following areas:

Property Risk Engineering

Workforce Strategies (Motor Fleet Risk and Health & Safety)

Mental Health & Wellbeing

Claims Defensibility

Associate Consultants would initially be expected to support across all these areas, though would generally specialise based on interest and aptitude in a given area.

What you can expect

Operational Risk Consulting (Associate Consultant): supports Marsh’s clients through the provision of operational risk management services, crucial to the placement of insurance and to clients in both loss prevention and physical and mental wellbeing. You will:

Support senior consultants and practice leaders to deliver risk management services to enable optimum placement of insurance and to minimise risk exposure.

Gain exposure to consulting solutions across property risk engineering, motor fleet risk management, mental health/wellbeing, health & safety and claims defensibility.

Help organisations of all shapes and sizes access and benefit from risk analysis in a way relevant to their businesses.

Study towards your ACII and NEBOSH professional qualifications alongside a range of technical courses delivered both in-house and through industry specialist partners.

During the two year programme, we offer you the chance to rapidly develop professionally and personally, working side-by-side with our business leaders and learning on the job. In addition you will have access to the guidance, support and training to enable you to achieve your short-term and long-term career goals. You also have the option to gain exposure to projects in other areas of Marsh Advisory though optional rotations.

What you need:

Hold, or on track to achieve, a 2:1 or higher in your degree ideally in:

Engineering

Law,

Health & Safety

Ability to think strategically, analytically and solve problems.

Ability to work in teams and cultivate relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Be eligible to work in the UK or Republic of Ireland (no visa sponsorship provided)

Previous work experience in any of the following areas: risk management, insurance, engineering, law, claims, health and safety, construction, analytics
