Job description: Job Description:As the Masterplan Manager, you will be accountable for managing and developing the masterplan scope outlining investments required within Heathrow’s assets base over 5-30-year time horizon. You will support the ownership of Heathrow multi-billion-pound capital investment programme with an aim to ensure the life extension and refurbishment of existing facilities are planned and integrated into the broader masterplan.The ideal candidate has experience with planning and development of an airport or other regulated environment, whilst demonstrating the ability to partner with stakeholders to understand long term strategies and plans.Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Heathrow`s masterplan covering all development, upgrades, and maintenance at the airport, with a particular focus on efficiently planning and managing our existing airfield and asset base over the next 30+ years
  • Delivering the translation of strategy and business goals into tangible steps on our masterplan
  • Reinforcing the justification of our multi-billion-pound regulatory capital programme, consulting with airlines and our regulator
  • Directing projects to develop specific areas of the masterplan with goals such as maximising spatial development opportunities, ensuring resilience and planning for climate change
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of global developments in airport master planning to ensure Heathrow remains at the forefront of airport planning capabilities across various aviation and environmental disciplines

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of airport, aviation, or similar regulatory industries
  • Understanding and experience of planning and development process
  • Ability to develop documents and presentations, whilst having great presentation and communication skills
  • Strong team working and collaborating skills
