Job description: This Material Planner role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of procurement and supply chain activities within an industrial/manufacturing setting. The position requires a diligent individual capable of managing resources, scheduling, and procurement activities.
- Manage and oversee the procurement and supply chain activities.
- Ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand the needs and requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies for inventory management.
- Mitigate supply chain risks and manage supplier relationships.
- Analyse and resolve any arising issues in procurement processes.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
You will be working for an international key player in the Aviation Industry|Safran Seats is one of the world’s leading suppliers of seating for passengers
- At least 12 months experience in a similar manufacturing planning role.
- Good working knowledge of an ERP system
- Proven skills in resource scheduling and procurement activities.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration
