Job description: Recra are working in partnership with a prestigious engineering company based in Coventry, who are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler / Toolmaker to join their dynamic team.
Job Summary:
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing various mechanical components used in work holding solutions. Your expertise in mechanical assembly techniques and attention to detail will contribute to the production of high-quality solutions that meet our clients customers’ needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ideally, you are apprenticed trained and/or possess engineering qualifications.
- Experience in working with hydraulics/pneumatics is a distinct advantage.
- Proficient in working with fixtures, jigs, and workholding.
- Capable of assembly, installations, and maintenance.
- Comfortable working on-site and off-site at customer locations (when required).
- Skilled in repair and refurbishment tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with precision.
- Proficient in the use of manual machines.
Responsibilities:
- Work within our engineering team to ensure seamless assembly and installation processes.
- Utilise your expertise in hydraulics/pneumatics to enhance our workholding solutions.
- Work on-site at Hyfore, also able to travel to customer locations when required, providing hands-on support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Tackle repair and refurbishment projects with precision and attention to detail.
- Showcase your problem-solving skills in overcoming engineering challenges.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly and maintenance.
Hours of work:
Mon-Thursday – 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday – 7:30am – 1.30pm

Expected salary: £34000 – 50000 per year
