Designer – Mechanical Designer using AutoCAD Inventor 3D. Ability to design from concept to prototype of conveyors and other industrial machines/equipment. Must have solid design skills intermediate to advanced. Degree a plus but not required 5-10 years’ experience in mechanical design discipline or equivalent in an industrial design build environment in the automotive or fiberglass insulation manufacturing industries. Strong mechanical aptitude and AutoCAD/Inventor skills required. Experience in Solidworks and/or Demo 3D software a plus. Microsoft Suites and Microsoft Teams experience required. Capable of conveyance system layout, Machine Design, Detailing parts. Strong mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in AutoCAD or Inventor design. Working on Projects from start to finishing and assisting the field PM. MUST HAVES: Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, Inventor 3D, Microsoft Office Products, Excel, Word, Project. Project Engineering experience – small to medium projects handling the design (specs), some customer interaction, fabrication with the shop and layout of the equipment. Ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience in the conveyor industry or anything around machine/equipment deign and build.
