This position will provides around the world field engineering/technical support and industrial oversight for US Navy small boats. As well as provide ISEA Engineering Agent support through coordination with Standard Boat Team customers. General Responsibilities and Basis experience include but are not limited to:
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in:
- Providing ISEA Engineering Agent support through coordination with Standard Boat Team customers.
- Providing overall industrial management through quality assurance and multiple discipline technical expertise.
- Serving as POC for ISEA craft issues and coordinating with maintenance management on both coasts and worldwide and being responsible for data gathering/management and trend analysis on craft issues. Work with management to prioritize engineering, design, modernization, and technical issues. Manage and coordinate root cause analysis and corrective action efforts.
- Coordinating and assisting with delivery of technical engineering products that conform to sound engineering principles, technical requirements, and processes. Review BOATALT and drawing packages for technical compliance.
- Extensive background in the installation of all electrical and mechanical components including but not limited to boat ManTech Proprietary Information alterations for security systems, instrumentation, cabling, gauges and sensors, radars, external speakers, depth sounders, sonar, cabin and deck lighting, engines, pumps, generators, trim systems, outdrives, jet drives and shore power.
- Providing leadership and technical expertise on standard boat in-service issues, engineering, life cycle management, craft repair and modernization efforts.
- Providing quality assurance program expertise on craft inspection, repair, and industrial efforts.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance in support of standard boat repair availabilities.
Minimum Requirements include:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Must have a US Passport
- High School Diploma/equivalent required.
- Four years plus experience inspecting and troubleshooting mechanical, electronic, and electrical systems.
- 1 year plus experience in project management.
- Available for CONUS and OCONUS travel.
- Small Boat operational and maintenance experience and knowledge required.
- Experience in metal and fiberglass structural fabrication, welding, inspection and quality assurance processes.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and promptly taking corrective action.
