Job description: Dunnhumby is looking for a Media & CE Consulting Manager to join us on a permanent basis.In this role, you will partner with our clients and relevant media verticals, to create and embed a new client servicing model. This model will focus particularly on Retail Media, Personalisation and Loyalty strategy schemes.In doing so, you will support dunnhumby’s personal long-term development, drive client growth and drive continuous improvement.Key Accountabilities:
- Be the driving force and advocate of new servicing model and processes across the Media & Insight business for
- Build strong relationships and processes with internal teams to utilise and embed the planning capabilities and tools into a strategic planning process.
- Support the sales team in transforming relationships from working with suppliers to working more strategically with their clients also by building annual plans/advertising strategy by providing strategic direction and embedding new ways of working to set their planning strategy for the year.
- Reposition to our clients the new ways of working, sharing expectations on the planning process and the value this will provide.
- Assess client briefs and offer sales team guidance in gathering observations, to summarise key takeaways, areas of opportunity and focus to identify the strategic insight and create a strategic platform helping to solve the client’s challenge.
- Pro-actively grow a detailed understanding of competitor set/retail media marketplace and drive this level of expertise across the sales team. Be interested in wider issues impacting retail currently g. sustainability, food waste.
Skills and Experience Required:
- At least five years’ experience in a Media Planning role, building Strategic Media Plans.
- Experience working in Personalisation and Loyalty within the FMCG space.
- Knowledge and understanding of customer journeys across all media and touch points.
- Knowledge of the media environment with a focus on digital and preference for retail centric exposure.
- Strong understanding of how agency planning team’s work.
- Detailed understanding and exposure to strategic planning.
- A compelling and confident presenter, adept at delivering pitches and concepts to senior stakeholders internally and externally.
