Job Description
We are looking for a Media Planning Director to join our longstanding Aviva account, a partnership spanning 14 years.
Innovation is ingrained in our team’s approach, making us a trailblazer in leveraging technology for streamlined media planning.
As a Media Planning Director, you’ll work across Performance and Brand Consideration, joining a vibrant team of 11, leading on strategic planning, and showcasing leadership in team management and client relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Leadership:
- Be the point person for senior clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business needs.
- Ensure timely account running and campaign delivery through proactive client management.
Full Funnel Planning:
- Coordinate Consideration and Performance planning for a cohesive full-funnel approach.
- Utilize Performance knowledge to optimize campaigns effectively.
Team Management:
- Lead a team of Account Managers and Senior Execs by setting an example for operational excellence and client service and be the direct report of one of the Account Managers.
Strategic Planning:
- Co-lead annual planning alongside the Strategist & Business Director.
- Own ongoing quarterly planning and responses to client briefs, ensuring the team consistently delivers outstanding work.
Cultural Leadership:
- Foster a positive culture within your team.
- Build strong relationships with partner agencies and suppliers to contribute to a collaborative atmosphere.
Qualifications
Key experience and qualities we are looking for include:
- Problem-solving aptitude and adaptability to change;
- Cross-channel (offline and online) media expertise, particularly in Performance planning;
- Strong client management and clear communication skills;
- Exceptional coordination and management abilities;
- Proactive approach to innovation and creativity;
- Deadline-oriented with attention to detail; Familiarity with industry; research tools (e.g. BARB, TFI, AdIntel) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Additional Information
Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with employees being office-based on Mondays and two other days during the working week.
