The Media Planning team sites within our Commercial Operations division working across all brands in the Hearst portfolio. We manage print flat plans for all Hearst brands and work closely with Account Directors to compile media plans.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be responsible for media plan creation, flat plan creation & management and the accuracy of proposed plans across digital and print channels.
Media Plan Management
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to support in advertising briefs and be responsible for creating all media proposals across print, digital and fully integrated campaigns.
- Advise and create media plans that can meet the clients’ objectives and KPIs, ensuring we can deliver against the budget, creative ideas, and align with our brand(s) strategy.
- Be responsible for tracking and recording print and digital inventory, communicating when inventory availability is limited and/or opportunities arise.
- Have a wide understanding of commercial opportunities in the market and anything relating to, such as conversion rate, brands and product opportunities.
- You will be able to provide media planning analysis to support in the evaluation of accounts/agencies.
Print Management
- Brand guardianship – ensuring all clients are compliant with brand rules and terms and all advertisers reflect the brands values, ethos and environment.
- Provide efficient management of the print book meeting client requirements and the needs of our own business, managing constantly changing plans and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- You will manage inventory and budgets and liaise with the commercial team to maximise ad revenues as the primary point of contact for print performance of a designated brand.
- You will collaborate with multiple teams across Hearst to ensure the magazine is finalised on schedule to full capacity and ensure client material is delivered to deadline.

Our ideal candidate will be a fast learner and fast executer who strives for excellent results and excellent customer service. They will be proactive and take ownership of their own approach, solve complex problems routinely and achieve results through influence and stakeholder management. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with a collaborative attitude is essential as well as good communication and a strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Censhare, AdPoint and Salesforce is desirable.
