Job description: A growing medical devices company, based in Cambridgeshire, are currently in the process of adding to their medical devices R&D team. One of the roles they are looking to add to is a Mechanical Engineer who can help with the development of a lifesaving Medical Devices.

We are open to candidates who have a couple of years medical devices experience through to people with a number of years who would like to take on extra responsibility. The important factors in hiring for this role is your attitude, we are looking for someone who wants to work with the company and help them improve their technologies and help with the company’s advancement.
You will work on the development of complex medical devices, due to this you will need to have worked on complex systems such as electro-mechanical, robotics, microfluidics, electro-medical or other technologies that would work to EN 60601 standards.
It would be expected that you would hold a degree within a relevant mechanical engineering discipline, however successful development of medical devices is more important.
