Are you a Senior MRO/Repairs Executive looking to transition to a Team Leader? If so this is the role for you!
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Leader within our MRO department (internally known as Tactical Buying and Expediting). This position is integral to our MRO operations, where you will lead a team of skilled professionals in delivering exceptional services while upholding the highest industry standards.
What you’ll be doing
- Team Coordination: coordinate team activities to ensure proper prioritisation, workload balance, and optimal resource utilisation.
- New Staff Integration: take responsibility for the recruitment, induction, and initial socialisation of new staff members, including support for recruitment activities as needed.
- Performance Management: be accountable for reporting and achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to customer satisfaction, supplier performance, and cost efficiencies, aligning with departmental and company objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: identify, promote, and drive a focus on continuous improvement in processes and tools to enhance efficiency within TB&E.
- Cost Approval: review and approve costs within delegated limits.
- Procedural Compliance: maintain team procedural compliance, ensuring all transactions are accurately invoiced and align with Company expectations.
- Customer Relations: maintain clear, effective, and regular communication with both external and internal customers to build productive working relationships. Ensure consistency of communication within the team to instil trust with our customers.
About you
- Team Leader experience is NOT required however experience in the aviation, aircraft component, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), or trading environment is ESSENTIAL
- Experience working towards KPI’ and SLA’s
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
