Aviva are currently looking for a Multinational Insurance Account Executive to join our London based Multinational Centre of Excellence.

You will become an integral part of our small but dedicated, skilled and upbeat team that is responsible for all aspects of structuring and coordinating our Multinational insurance programmes for our global customers.

With this service comes the peace of mind that we have successfully negotiated the minefield of overseas insurance regulation on behalf of our brokers and customers, and that they have the best quality, fully compliant and detailed insurance programmes in place for their entire global businesses.

As a Multinational Consultant you’ll be multi-skilled and viewed as the “glue” that coordinates and holds all aspects of our Multinational Insurance Programmes together.

A bit about the job:

• Liaison and negotiation with multiple customers, service providers and other partners both internal and external – These will include underwriters, clients, brokers, overseas network partners, regulators, internal claims, and accounting teams etc
• As a subject matter expert in overseas regulatory and compliance issues, support Aviva underwriters and sales staff in the technical overseas aspects of client and broker presentations and training sessions
• Facilitation in tendering and quoting new Multinational business
• Compliant structuring of Multinational Insurance Programmes on behalf of underwriters
• Full oversight and end to end execution of the implementation of Aviva’s Multinational Insurance programmes

Skills & Experience required

• Basic knowledge of the main classes of general Corporate and Specialty insurance (Crucial)
• Strong understanding of the principles of Multinational Insurance Programmes, the different bases of cover involved, and the overseas regularity and compliance issues related to Multinational business
• Strong customer service ethos and focus, including excellent relationship building skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to balance priorities under pressure and simultaneously managing communications both upwards to customers and downwards to service providers

• Salary circa £45,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
