Job description: The Emergency Department in the Emergency Care Centre, is seeking an enthusiastic, caring and motivated healthcare support worker who is hardworking to join our busy fast paced department.

The Emergency Department is the Trauma Centre for the North East of Scotland dealing with major trauma, acute illness and minor injury/illness. There are approximately 67, 700 new patients attending yearly with a further 80,000 returning for follow up care. Approximately 200 new attendances are seen each day and the caseload and dependency can be complex and diverse.

Do you have good communication and interpersonal skills and are caring, hard working and flexible? Then this exciting opportunity is for you.

Please note, previous HCSW experience, working in an acute area is essential. Please also mention any mandatory training in your application.

This is a rotational post, working a 12 hour shift pattern.
