Job description: My client is seeking a NAM with prior experience in either foodservice or selling to food manufacturers. The successful candidate will have own label experience and will be responsible for driving growth across the B2B channel.
- Identify opportunities to drive growth, revenue and profits across existing account base
- Utilise existing relationships and business development skills to win new B2B accounts
- Agree JBPs, CPIs and negotiate contracts across your account base
- Work with the National Account Controller to execute agreed sales strategies
- Monitor trends in the market to stay ahead of competition
- Identify and understand the needs and future plans of your accounts
- Analyse sales data and anticipate market trends
- Report back to the business on performance and opportunities

- Prior experience working at national account level within UK foodservice or B2B
- Experience of working in food and drink
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, demonstrable experience in JBPs, CPIs
- Experience selling food as an ingredient preferred
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
Although established 70 years ago, my client is still a small, tight knit business, with an existing footprint across the UK grocery and B2B channels. They supply Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods, across both ambient and chilled categories, and are now looking for a National Account Manager as the expand their team to service their continued growth.
- A competitive salary of £58,000 – £60,000
