THE OPPORTUNITY

We have commenced our search for Food & Beverage Assistant’s to join our brand-new property Holiday Inn Blackpool & Marco’s New York Italian Restaurant. Due to open Spring 2024, and reporting to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, you will be responsible in assisting the day-to-day running of the operations relating to all F&B outlets within the Holiday Inn Blackpool. Within the hotel there will be a Marco’s New York Italian Restaurant, inspired by Marco Pierre White. The objective is for Marco’s to be a destination restaurant within the Blackpool market and the first every celebrity chef restaurant to arrive in the Town Centre! This brand-new four-star hotel is part of a wider regeneration project for Blackpool including retail units and improved public transport links, with a new tram terminal, all within the Talbot Gateway central business district. The property boasts 144 bedrooms, 3 meeting rooms and well renowned restaurant Marco Pierre White New York Italian, with independent street access.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Day to Day execution of the Food & Beverage operation within the hotel.
  • A hands-on approach, driving forward exceptional standards throughout, as well as delivering results.
  • Working directly with the F&B Operations Manager in the execution of great food and service.
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability when assisting/dealing with guests/clients/colleagues/third party needs and the changing demand and priorities of the business.
  • Creating a welcoming atmosphere and personalised service for each individual external and internal guest having an eye for detail and responding appropriately to restaurant guest, colleague, and leadership feedback.
  • Working closely with the Marco Pierre White team in delivering restaurant brand and service standards.
  • Training and developing provided to ensure the guest experience is at the forefront of everything we do.

Start date for Restaurant Supervisor: April 2024
