Job description: We are looking for an experienced, newly qualified Management Accountant for a growing Finance team within the TV and Film industry. The ideal candidate will have prior experience producing management accounts who is commercially aware and thrives within a Creative environment.

As Management Accountant you will support the SVP and will be responsible for the management accounting of the very successful and constantly expanding international distribution, brands and kids content division as well as management accounting and ad-hoc project work.

Please note we are looking for a candidate who is recently/newly qualified ACCA/CIMA ideally. This is a full time permanent role offering hybrid working.

Key responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management and quarterly accounts analysis and commentary for the licensing business

Collation of budgets and forecasts/reforecast across rights and production business

Prepare cash forecasting for budget and forecasting for licensing business

Prepare UK monthly cash request

Liaising with AR to issue invoices and monitoring MG, advances and royalties

Liaising with royalty team, preparing agent reporting

Prepare quarterly VAT submission

Review expense report with office manager

Liaising with commercial, corporate, legal teams in NY, Toronto and UK.

Maintain Merchandise tracker, monitoring when advances are to be issued

Assist with coding marketing and tradeshow invoices against the budget

Update tradeshow costs monthly

Prepare overheads for forecasting and budgeting

Other ad-hoc project duties as required by SVP Finance

Key skills:

Newly/recently qualified ACCA/CIMA

A proven track record working within management accounting

Excellent communication and business partnering skills

IT proficiency with intermediate Excel skills

Self-starter with a flexible working style

Proven capacity to contribute positively to team work

Expected salary: £50000 – 55000 per year
