Job description: Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Senior CAMHS Practitioner to take on a new locum opportunity based in Romford.Location: RomfordContract Type: Locum, initially 3-month contractPay Rate: £28.87 – £30.87 per hour (assignment rate)Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 09:00 am – 17:00 pmDuties:
- Carry out weekly urgent and crisis follow up assessments, formulate treatment plans and assess risk
- Offer treatment for allocated higher risk/complex patients
- Offer supervision to Band 6 workers in the team
- Attend/facilitate weekly MDT and team meetings
- Take a lead on safeguarding and multi-agency work
- Offering treatment to children, young people and their careers and families
Requirements of the Senior CAMHS Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Valid NMC Registration
- Assessment and formulation skills
- Experience working in CAMHS
- Experience in care planning and risk management
