Contract Type: Ongoing contract
Pay Rate: £25 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties:
- Completion of initial assessments for patients newly admitted to Intermediate Care
- Setting therapy goals and use of Criteria Led Discharge
- Completing therapy reviews following patients fracture clinic appointments
- Completion of access visits as required
- Assessment of and provision of equipment
- Supporting Band 4 Therapy Assistant Practitioners and Band 2 and 3 Integrated Care Workers
- Attendance at and feeding back in MDT meetings
- Discharge planning
- Attendance at professionals’ meetings and case conferences
Requirements of the Intermediate Care Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
- An enhanced DBS will be required for adults
