Location: Luton/Kempston

Contract Type: Ongoing contract

Pay Rate: £25 per hour (assignment rate)

Shift Pattern: Part time/full time

Duties:

  • Works as part of the Community Paediatric Occupational Therapy Service
  • Works autonomously with emphasis being placed on multi-disciplinary working and multi-agency collaboration
  • Holding their own clinical caseload
  • Clinical supervision and development of more junior staff
  • Carry out assessments and treatment and provide advice for children on their caseload in mainstream schools, designated special schools and other community settings
  • Attend multi-agency meetings and relevant discussions, including EHCP meetings and Tribunals if required

Requirements of the Paediatric Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent NHS experience
  • Registered with the HCPC
