Job description: Full time position to support the Duty Nurse/ Paramedic during the night, 1945-0745hrs. The role involves responding to any clinical incidents, stock control, compliance checks, conducting any follow up checks with patients and tasks handed over from the day team.Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work. You will be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages, phlebotomy and assessment, treatment and the evaluation of patients’ care. You will support and assist patients with the activities of daily living, work with the Pharmacy Team to help them fulfil their daily tasks and you will be encouraged to take the lead on well-being promotion clinics.You will support the registered nurse and operating department practitioner in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care and to be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.What you’ll be doingTo apply for this position you should have NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
