Job description: JOB TITLE: Night Shift Cleaning Operative
LOCATION: The Rock, Bury
SHIFT PATTERN: wed, thu, fri, sat, sun, 40 hours per week
PAY RATE: £11.45 per hour
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
Your duties will involve cleaning of a shopping Centre front of house and back of house. You will empty waste and clean communal and areas with limited access. You must have good attention to detail and high standards of cleaning. You will be responsible for cleaning areas and waste management as per planner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Collecting large wheelie bins and replacing with empty
· Disposing of separated recycled and general waist in the correct manner.
· Cleaning and tidying delivery yards including toilets.
· High level dusting and cleaning
· Following group and company policies and procedures
· Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
· Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
· Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Good attendance
· Work to routine schedules
· Be able to proactively find tasks
· Ability to work on their own and as a team
· Excellent timekeeping
· Good communication skills
